Eastern Holistic Center is now offering the Acupressure Institutes 150-Hour Basic Acupressure California State certification. This certification training offers several types of acupressure & eastern bodywork modalities. Students gain proficiency in using more than 75 acupressure points, acupressure flows, extraordinary vessels, the twelve organ meridians, the five elements, eastern massage, and more. Upon completion, the student will be a California State Certified Acupressure Practitioner/Certified Massage Therapist.

To successfully complete this 150-hour Basic Training Program one needs to:
- Complete all nine courses. (Note: make-up classes can be taken at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA)
- Pay tuition in full.
- Complete Documented Clinical Practice & Assignments (7 clinical case studies and 5 assignments). Also, attend at least 4 practice sessions.
- Pass a 1 hour verbal and hands-on evaluation. Once these four steps are completed you will be awarded your diploma and become a graduate of the Acupressure Institute. There are no written exams.

Tuition
Tuition for the full program is $2100. Receive $50 off when program is paid in full in advance. Visa/Mastercard, checks and cash are accepted.
Down Payment: $450 deposit is due before attending the program. The deposit includes a $75 non-refundable registration fee.
Payment Plan
Once the $450 deposit/registration fee is paid you can continue to pay for your classes (per class) until the full amount of tuition has been paid.
CEU's
CEU units are available upon request for classes at EHC through the Acupressure Institute. Provider Approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN Provider # CEP 14994)

Stephanie Halderman teaches classes at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA. Classes include Acu-Aromatherapy and Pregnancy & Birthing I & II. These classes are for experienced practitioners and those enrolled in the advanced program.
Pregnancy & Birthing I; First, Second, & Third Trimesters
Students will learn acupressure, bodywork techniques, aromatherapy, holistic remedies, nutrition, and self-help prenatal yoga for all trimesters in pregnancy. We will cover the common discomforts and complications associated with pregnancy, as well as contraindications. Approaches of western medicine vs. ancient wisdom will be discussed for a balanced knowledge of how to help the pregnant woman make educated choices for a healthy pregnancy.
Pregnancy & Birthing II; Labor, Postpartum Recovery, & Newborn Healing
Students will learn acupressure, bodywork techniques, aromatherapy, holistic remedies, nutrition, and self-help yoga for labor, postpartum recovery, and newborn healing. We will cover topics including labor induction, stages of labor, pain relief, complications and postpartum challenges. The class will also cover acupressure & holistic remedies for newborns that may be experiencing birth trauma, colic, stress, difficulty sleeping and more. Approaches of western medicine vs. ancient wisdom will be discussed for a balanced knowledge of how to help the woman make educated choices on how she gives birth and beyond.
